I received this Certificate from U.S. Geological Survey and the Canadian Wildlife Service for reporting the Brant with two bands, which allowed to ID the bird. The whole information about that banded Brant is on the certificate. The shortest distance from the place where the bird was banded - Chevak, Alaska (in July 2010) to Playa Del Rey, Los Angeles County, California - where I photographed it on Dec. 11, 2010 is approximately 2,600.00 miles (4,184.29 km).
