Bexhill - Tomoko Takahashi installation 'Introspective Retrospective'
Tomoko Takahashi, Japanese artist, spends time in various places, and gets to know the people of the particular place, before creating her installations. This was part of a much larger installation, which I was not supposed to photograph. This is a collage, created in a 3m x 3m box, which you climb into. Basically, it is 'detriment' of today's society, and she is known to take things from local council dumps and skips, to use in her art forms. She is also exhibiting at De La Warr Pavilion in galleries 1&2.
