Monday Blues.....
Monday Blues the title that immediately came to mind when I looked at this image.
This is a Cape Ground Squirrel, which is a rodent endemic to South Africa. The upper parts are cinnamon coloured with a lateral white stripe on either side of the body. White underparts and the distinctive bushy fan-like tail have black based, white tipped hairs.
Size: Length - ±450 mm. Weighs up to 1 kg.
