My wife, also a reader (hell, she's a literacy specialist) pokes fun at me for always, always finding something to read whenever I have more than 10 seconds with nothing else to do.
The first, The Gathering looks like a supernatural thriller of the YA variety. Sounds entertaining, and I may just have a couple of students that would like to get it on loan when I'm done. It looks a bit dark, and I like dark.
