Unlike anything I’ve ever seen….
Although Hurricane Florence strengthens in the Atlantic to a category 4 and is headed toward the North Carolina Coast this week, it begins to quietly slip in over the Eastern Coast of the US. Today around noon, the first sign of the storm was a powerful one. Driving home today through the West Virginia Mountains, nature provided a stunning glimpse of what was in store. Although heavy storm clouds were already rolling in almost touching the ground, it was as though it was a game. The sun viciously fought to break through and for a few brief moments it was successful, while blue sky was quickly vanishing.
I couldn’t help but stop to admire the beauty of nature whether it be to warn us of troubling times ahead or to simply brighten our mood. Nature will never disappoint, if we only stop for a moment to catch its special gift.
