Day Twenty-Three of the December Diary 2011 Project This years Theme... 'MUSIC' %-)
Ok... I'm FAST running out of days here... and have left next week to concentrate on a few of my ALL TIME faves to end the month... which has brought me to the conclusion I'm going to have to do a couple of 'group shots'. So here is a selection of some of my favourite Female Solo Artists... Some of these I have on vinyl too... and a few of them I have several CD's of, cos I love them so much!
There's quite a mix there... and to be honest there's more I could have added... but yes I KNOW... I HAVE to stop SOMEWHERE!!! (This doesn't factor in all the wonderful BANDS fronted by some talented Female Vocalists either!)

There are four Kiwi's in the Mix Bic Runga, Brooke Fraser, Anika Moa and Jenny Morris. All absolutely wonderfully talented singer/ songwriters... So please check them out when you get the chance. I can't speak highly enough of them and I'm sure you'll love them too! (I've seen all of them live in concert, which is always a bonus for me! %-)
Alanis Morisette, K.D. Lang, Bijork, Norah Jones and Bonnie Raitte I have also had the pleasure of seeing in concert. I just LOVE going to live concerts.... and over the years have been to some real Gems. The stand out in this group would have to be Bonnie Raitte One of the best concerts and best live performers ever. When you think of the 'Blues Guitar Legends' you tend to always think of the Men... But I rate her right up there with the best of them!!! %-)
