Reflective Kiwi and New Zealand in a Puddle... Can you see it too...?

For some reason I never got around to posting this image...

It was taken August 8th 2009... In the car park where we live...

We were coming home from an afternoon shopping...

It had rained earlier in the day...

and there were a few puddles scattered around.

I took one look at this and thought!

OMG it's a map of New Zealand!

Can you see it too?

I took a close up shot of it...

But my shadow... who was leaning on her crutches at the time...

Wanted her photo taken with it as well. %-)

 

I have uploaded it today for Bede who is my wonderful physiotherapist...

Who had been helping to get me back on track...

I'd been telling him today about the December Diary Shadows/Reflections project.

He suggested taking a reflection in a puddle...

and I immediately remembered this photo...

So here it is at long last! %-)

Don't know why I didn't get around to posting it at the time!
