Welcome Back William - Tasco Mexico
Mum and I would like to wish William a warm welcome back! %-)
I visited Mum this morning on my way to work. William was back online yesterday from his holiday in Mexico and I took some printouts of his photos to show her. She had been interested to know when he was back. Mum LOVES Mexico... and Spain and anything in between! Her house is filled with Spanish and Mexican things. This painting is one that she brought in Mexico City while there in 1976. It is a painting of Tasco. She brought it from a local guy on the steps of the Cathedral.

His beautiful photo of the "Angel of Independence"

was of particular interest as it was just across the road from where she stayed.
Mum has really ben enjoying Flickr. She doesn't have a compuer, so I print things out to show her. It brightens her day. So thank-you William for bringing a smile to her face and to mine! %-)
