DIP14_socket_converter_2
MY AMPLIFIER MODS: it is so hard to find in the market, that I decided to build myself.
Very useful for your listening tests and MODS.
This is a DIP-14 to two DIP-8 socket adapter to convert any quad opamp to two different dual opamps.
It contains also a 100nF rail-to-rail ceramic capacitor.
I'm permanently using in the pre-amplifier section of a Musical Fidelity A120 amplifier, where I temporary replaced JFET quad op-amp TL084 with two different superb bipolar chips (chosen after rolling several dual opamps, but still under listening test): Linear Technology LT1355 as unity gain buffer and Analog Device AD826 for volume gain.
Sound is emotional and warm-toned (thanks also to the well-known heavenly midrange of the AD826).
