Digital Diary........
In a lifetime....
.........I doubt i'll ever witness a more surreal moment than when I took this pic.Want a little story?,then i'll begin.....
A couple of weeks ago I went to Dorset for a holiday but we called in at my wifes sisters to split up the journey and to pay a visit. The following morning we went for a walk and in the local woods I spotted loads of trees all perfectly in rows.Didnt have my camera with me so when we got back to the house I thought i'd go back and try to make a few pictures,my Mrs came back for the walk too.Anyway,I was just setting up and looking at angles when I went back to my bag for a longer lens when something caught my eye,I looked around and saw this Deer off to one side.I gave Gill a shout and said 'look, theres a bloody Deer over there!',she came over to look and we both stood there amazed.I said to her, 'it would make my day if it trotted over into that gap in the trees.....',and it did!,couldn't believe it!,I quickly took some pics as it stood there watching us,must have been only about 20 seconds then off it went.I hastily took about 10 shots, and this was the sharpest.I know its not the best pic in the world but when we look at it we just remember how gobsmacked we were to be there :),
Thanks for reading (if you have!),
Chris.
