Easy Spaghetti
My dinner tonight (and for the next few days) -- a recipe I created that's very delicious!
EASY SPAGHETTI
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 pound lean ground beef
1 jar Classico mushroom and ripe olive pasta sauce
Cook the garlic in the olive oil in a several-quart saucepan until lightly golden. Stir in the lean ground beef and break up with a fork, cooking clear through. Drain the garlic/ground beef mixture. Return to the pan and add the Classico pasta sauce; stir well. Heat through and serve with spaghetti cooked al dente and shredded parmesan cheese and French bread, or else refrigerate for later.
That last is what I did, keeping the sauce mixture until I was ready to cook the spaghetti and prepare the meal. I was too lazy to make garlic bread and of course, that would have been the traditional accompaniment. Enjoy!
