Leica M9 + Lux Engagement
Leica M9 + Leica Summilux ASPH 50mm f1.4 - into the sun!
Had a lovely day in London today meeting Alex and Andy ahead of thteir wedding next year. Engagement sessions are invaluable, both for getting to know each other and to get some practise in front of the camera. I had it easy today, great people and very relaxed and smiley. I posed all the images but hopefully they will look natural and relaxed. My usual approach. Daylight only, no reflector for the entire shoot. I was also using the Leica M3 + Leica Noctilux 50mm f1.0 and the new Rolleiflex SL66E. I thought the digital M9 did well here but i'm keen to see how the M3 faired :) We were lucky to get this glimpse of sunshine and a break in the rain long enough to do the shoot. Looking forward to the wedding now!
