Leica Summarit 50mm f1.5
Leica M9 + 1954 Leica Summarit 50mm f1.5. Shot at 1m at f1.5. I processed this image as I do most my images - adjust contrast, sharpen and add border/ watermark. I'd only had the lens in my hands for 5mins and I have already proved that this lens is plenty sharp enough with some PP to be shot wide open. It was easy to nail focus at f1.5 but most reviews say these lenses were optimised at f2.8. Maybe I got lucky. Great lens.
More Leica Summarit 50f1.5 sample images to follow. There is a lot of bad images on the internet using this lens together with terrible reviews. As far as I can see this was unfair and they should have asked someone who can focus a manual lens to do the review! :P
