This is the last stereo slide in this series of photographs I made at the 2018 Goodguys Hotrod and Custom Car show in Des Moines, Iowa on June 29, 2018. The car in the picture is a Fad-T. While I find the sign taped to the car distracting, the car itself has interest, partially because of the cycle fenders, which are not usual unless mandated by state or local law. The injector stacks with air filters are great, and the rear tires really make the car stand out.
Converting an Album to a Slide Show on the Apple iPhone
1.Open the Goodguys 2018 Album. Hold the phone in the upright position, with the close button at the bottom.
2.Select the first picture in the album.
3.Tap the “Air Play” icon in the lower left corner.
4.Select the Slide Show “play arrow.“ The first time you do this, you will want to double tap the icon to set parameters for the slide show—i.e. music or not, etc. The type of slide show is “push” for best viewing as stereo pairs.
5.Rotate the phone to horizontal position and drop into Google Cardboard.
Above are directions for converting my album of stereo pairs into a slide show.
For some people, bringing the images into focus using Google Cardboard will be an issue. In those cases, I recommend using a regular VR headset. They are not expensive, and the ones I’ve seen and used have adjustable focus.
