Europe's longest stress ribbon bridge in high strength steel sreht in Oberhausen. And it is not just crossing aid via the Rhine-Herne Canal, but also an accessible work of art. The bridge was built as part of the project "Emscher Art 2010". The name "Slinky springs to fame" is derived from the spiral toy "Slinky", "ongoing spring". Artist Tobias Reberger designed the bridge as a colored spiral ribbon across the river. According to the concept 496Spiralwicklungen steel envelop with a diameter of five meters to a total of 406 meter long bridge construction.
