Ben Seibel (1918-1985) is rapidly gaining recognition as one of mid-century America's foremost modern ceramic and industrial designers. Seibel's studies, which included architecture at Columbia, industrial design at the Pratt Institute, painting under Schanker, and sculpture under Amino, prepared him well for his design career.
