Marshfield-Wisconsin Rapids
This is the from the WIS DOT State Rail Plan from the mid-late 1970's. At this time, the Soo and C&NW were both making a daily run from Marshfield to Nekoosa and return so I'm guessing this was from 1976 or earlier (service was provided from Adams to Marshfield after that) This document makes no mention of the bridge traffic over the Marshfield- Wi Rapids segment nor the terminating traffic at Marshfield, which was somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,000-1,500 cars per year. Photos of trains on this line are extremely rare.
