Win Hill sunrise

It was my birthday yesterday so rather than going to work I took the day off so what better way to celebrate it than a lung busting 1000ft climb in the dark up Parkin Clough to shoot the sunrise from the summit of Win Hill.

I was sweating cobs by the time I reached the top then rapidly cooled down when the sub zero temperatures went to work.

There was quite a bit of cloud cover when I first arrived that was soon whipped away by the wind but still a little remained when the sun broke through to add some extra colour to the scene as well as a light smattering of snow that had fallen during the night. It was a lovely way to start the day and certainly worth the effort in getting up there.(1/13 sec f6.3 @ 7mm NiSi GND16 (4 stop) reverse ND grad 3D printed adaptor)
