The Fairmount Water Works (now an Interpretive Center), used the power of the Schuylkill River to pump water to the reservoirs at the top of a nearby hill, Faire Mount. This view is from the top of the hill behind the Museum of Art and there's a beautifully designed path that leads down to it. All the times I've been to the Museum, and I've never come down here before...
