Distractions

I visited the Chicago Botanic Garden on a weekday in the hopes of there being less people. It was oddly busy early in the morning, with lots of people wearing name tags. And then I realized it was a large photo workshop (Out of Chicago). Fortunately for me, the classes were hanging out elsewhere, and not where I wanted to go.

As I was scanning for hummingbirds, a man approached me and asked if I'd been there for several days. I was terribly confused, especially as he kept on talking and not making any sense at all. This hummingbird flew in front of me to perch in the crabapple tree, so I decided to ignore the man - because how often do you get to photograph a hummingbird without having to crop the shot later?

I still have no idea what that man was trying to tell me.
