Vernal Fall

Another shot of Vernal Fall from our visit to Yosemite back at the end of May. There was a lot of water flowing then...probably a lot less is flowing now.

This view of Vernal Fall is from the connector trail between the Mist Trail and the John Muir Trail. The John Muir Trail is a nice alternative to hiking the Mist Trail - it's longer, but less steep and much drier. Although, the trail seems rougher than we remember it - we hiked it about 12 years ago.

The official height of Vernal Fall is 317 feet.
