The Magic of Light
My husband and I recently returned from a trip to Arizona and Utah. This is Upper Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. We had visited Page 15 years ago, essentially passing through from going to the Grand Canyon to Bryce Canyon National Parks. We knew about the Glen Canyon Dam, Lake Powell and Rainbow Bridge back then, but did not know about the slot canyons. This time, we knew and signed up for a photography specific tour of this particular slot canyon.
What a zoo! There were many tour groups going through the canyon. Our tour guide was very good about working with the other guides in trying to keep people out of the way as we shot. That still didn't stop folks from standing there, oblivious to the fact that there were 9+ photographers set up to shoot. We will likely return to Page and the slot canyons, but will probably find one less popular to explore.
