Tea and cookies

A friend of mine at work and I had some very delicious almond cookies when we were at the Venetian Hotel in Vegas for a work meeting. This was my attempt to see if I could make cookies like the ones we had. Close, but not quite.

Asian slow cooked stew (reminds me of Mom's cooking)

The photo assist dog, aka Jackie (oh, wait. Maybe she frustrates me. I certainly don't like to smell HER, the little stinky thing)
