Of course I had to look for hummingbirds while at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. I saw several - this female or youngster was the most cooperative. I think it is an Anna's hummingbird, as I saw and heard several male Anna's around. But Costa's hummingbirds can also be found year round. So hard to tell them apart without tags!
