Oreimairi お礼参り

Kyoto, Japan. Every year on 1st May, the maiko (apprentice geisha) of the Gion Kobu geisha district who performed at the month-long Miyako Odori do gather at Yasaka Shrine to greet and thank their elder sisters and teachers.

Ichiwaka became a fully fledged geisha on 24th May 2012.

Mameharu became a fully fledged geisha on 24th May 2012.

Ayano became a fully fledged geisha on 28th May 2012.

Makino became a fully fledged geisha on 23rd October 2012.

Kyōka became a fully fledged geisha on 29th October 2012.

Mamesome became a fully fledged geisha on 26th February 2013.

Manaha became a fully fledged geisha on 27th May 2013.

Koyoshi became a fully fledged geisha on 25th October 2013.

Mamemaru became a fully fledged geisha on 25th November 2013.

Chisako became a fully fledged geisha on 9th December 2013.

Momokazu became a fully fledged geisha on 19th February 2014.

Fumino became a fully fledged geisha on 13th November 2014.

Satsuki became a fully fledged geisha on 23rd February 2015.

Masaki became a fully fledged geisha on 25th May 2015.

Katsutomo became a fully fledged geisha on 14th September 2015.

Ayako became a fully fledged geisha on 7th December 2015.

Mameroku became a fully fledged geisha on 23rd January 2017.
