Change can happen fairly quickly and often with unexpected results.

 

These trees are alongside the Lillooet River near where the bridge to Meager hot springs used to be.

When the landslide tore down Capricorn Creek and flew out along Meager Creek and into the Pemberton Valley, it plowed through everything in its path. Destroying roads and bridges. Flattened the forest. It also created a huge delta and now water flows in much different areas than it used to...
