No Dogs Allowed
Niki and I had planned to go camping for the long-weekend on the west coast of the Olympic Peninsula. A few days beforehand we discovered that dogs are not permitted in National Parks. One of our main reasons for going was her Beagle & Great Dane had so much fun exploring the Oregon Coast with us last month.
She indicated it was alright to go on my own but we continued to look and think about alternate ideas. However, no surprise, everywhere was full. And with the weather forecast getting worse we decided to just hang around town. Until Thursday. I then decided to make a quick foray into the area, starting that night. Caught the last ferry and had a pleasant 48 hours south of the border.
This was my only evening at the beach. I think it would of looked better with some paw prints in the sand.
I brought Niki back some of our favourite beer (Red Hook - Wit), so I'm sure we're still good.
Plus we spent a very relaxing and warm afternoon at Iona Beach on Sunday so the dogs had their fun too!
