Once upon a time.. while wandering this North Woods river trail in the fresh morning air.. I came upon this incredible scene. The river was roaring with spring melt while the sun illuminated its spray, which in turn left a rather impressive 'blanket' of ice on this patch of trees on the river's edge. It was a testament to the power of that water, now unleashed by the forces of spring.
