Alter Ego Self Portrait
18x24 Charcoal, white charcoal, chalk pastel and oil pastel
My alter ego is a half dragon chick. Her wings are blue and red and they are surrounding the moon behind her head. Horns protrude from her head and the fans around her face. And, of course, she has a tail. I picked this as my alter ego because she represents strength, the ability of flight, and the keenness that is associated with dragon and human kind alike. She is dressed in rough native clothing showing femininity, but a lack of vanity too. Oh and she she has one human eye, one dragon eye.
The main reason i chose this, however, is that dragons are my favorite creatures and like many, i have always wanted to fly.
