Mesmerized by the Dance
The other day, I was outside trying to shoot my orange tree which is laden with oranges. I was just wandering around my garden messing around with the camera. I went to the back fence because I remember when I shot the fence with the polo player in it, someone mentioned the tangled wood wrapped around the fence. I went to shoot that and as I was trying to do so, a tiny flash of light hit me...all of a sudden, I was mesmerized by a dance. A tendril of web was floating freely from the fence post in a beautiful dance. I stood there and watched, delighted. I captured it by my continuous shooting setting and looking at the photos in succession, I can really see the dance. It delights me still. I am grateful for photography for teaching me to look beyond and see magical moments like webs dancing in the sunlight. Happy Fence Friday and may you find moments of delight today.
