Fauber Bottom Bracket Service

Install Locknut/dust cover into non-drive side cranks. The tricky part now is getting the right resistance after this is tightened against the rest of the assembly. With the pin spanner in the holes on the locknut/dust cover you can tighten it against the locknut and non-drive side cone by turning the pin spanner or by holding it stationary and turning the cranks. Snug it down and give the cranks a turn. If they're tight, pull the lock nut off and back the cone off a little, then try again. If it's too loose and you get some wobble, tighten the cone a tiny bit (I'm talking just a few degrees one way or another here) It's quite similar to any other American Bottom Bracket in this respect.
