We are delighted to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended and supported Sophie Shapiro’s recent art exhibition and auction at the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary in Surrey.
This special event wasn’t just about showcasing Sophie’s deeply expressive and mythology-inspired art; it was about coming together in the spirit of healing, reflection and giving back.
Set against the peaceful backdrop of the Sanctuary, renowned for its spiritual and emotional care, the exhibition offered a rare opportunity to experience Sophie’s work in a setting that amplified its introspective and symbolic nature.
What made this event even more meaningful? The proceeds from the auction were shared amongst voluntary organisations in need of help and support, a testament to the power of art to inspire not only inner transformation but real-world change.

I introduce you to my Spiritual Guide Harry Edwards who dedicated his life to Spiritual Healing and brought great relief to thousands of people all over the World. Harry died in 1976. It was under Harry’s Spiritual guidance that I first went to his wonderful healing Sanctuary in Burrows Lea, Shere – Surrey, UK. The Healing Sanctuary held a charity auction of twelve of my paintings, which were all painted while attuned to Harry’s Spiritual Guidance. They represented the healing energies that Harry believed can help us enjoy a more open and fulfilled life.
My paintings reflect many different timelines and periods in history. Harry himself liked to paint and would often use this medium, as it helped him to relax. I feel very happy and honoured to introduce him to you and put a link to his wonderful home and Healing Sanctuary, which he loved so deeply.

Harry’s was the founder and president of NFSH, National Federation of Spiritual Healers which was formed in 1955. Harry worked very hard and vigorously to help people understand and realise their own healing potentials. He wrote a prayer which is still used to this day, during The Healing Minute.
May I be thankful for all the blessings I already have. Grant me relief from pain and sickness, protect me from all ills and grant me good health in the days to come. Remove all causes of imperfection and bring Thy Healing Ministers close to me that I may be conscious of their presence and so receive guidance and inspiration. Grant me courage and fortitude to overcome all adversity. Let me be conscious of Thy strength in all time of need. Grant me confidence to overcome my fears and not to anticipate harm. Teach me, how to live rightly in Thy sight, to do only that which is right and true. I pray that good guidance and right influencing will inspire all Thy peoples to be as brothers and sisters, one to the other, and that peace shall endure for all time.
This painting is done using acrylics, pigment and gold/silver leaf on paper. I dedicate it to Harry Edwards.
