It were available in various color schemes along its production, the "Super Deluxe" versions used to match a chromed finished with various colors, like ivory, orange or brown; the standard versions used to be entirely painted in epoxy, matching two different colors or two tons of the same color.
General Electric from Brazil produced it from early 60's to 1984, when Black & Decker bought the GE home appliances plants in Brazil and made it for GE until 1986, then B&D kept it in line with its own brand until the middle 90's!
Because its unbeatable suction power, it always were a best seller in Brazil, selling far more than any other vacuum cleaner, Electrolux only could surpass it in the 90's with its "Hydrovac A10", sort of a Henry A1 Numatic mixed to a Rainbow D4. After B&D ended the production of the Swivel Top Canister, the Hydrovac A10 from Electrolux became indirectly its successor and a best seller from 1995 to 2013.
