According to CN’s website, they “operate within or adjacent to more than 220 reserve lands of nearly 130 First Nations and Metis communities in Canada and 7 tribal reservations in the United States.” In partial recognition and celebration of this, CN affixed the circular logo to approximately 200 new ES44AC locomotives starting in 2018. This particular locomotive is a AC44C6M rebuilt in August 2025. Formerly IC 2712, C44-9WL. Viewed at Brantford, Ontario.
