Road Rat

I always look for life leason's in almost everything I do... The other day I was out taking pictures and I stopped because I saw this cool old Rat Rod sitting in a lot. I was a bit ticked off because I had only brought one of my lenses and thought that it was going to be really hard to get a decent picture... As I walked around the car trying to find the right angle to photograph it I just kept getting more and more frustrated that I didn't have the right lens.

 

Just when I was about to give up I stepped back from my single focus point. (that being the car) then all of a sudden I saw the big picture... The car was sitting in front of a muffler shop that just happen to have this really cool sign... There it was the whole time but I couldn't see the shot because all my attention was too focused on a single thing... Not to mention now I had the exact lens I needed to take the picture.

 

Life lesson: Sometimes when we focus all our attention on one thing we miss the bigger and better picture... We must also take time to focus on the things that surround the focal point because a lot of times they bring even more value to whatever it is we are trying capture.
