War memorial hall foundation stone 17 Dec 1961 by M C W Gooden, opened 29 Apr 1962.
“The laying of the foundation stone of the new Anglican Church at Henley Beach was performed on Saturday afternoon by Mr. John Barker. . . The new structure would consist of four bays of the nave, porch, baptistry, and vestry.” [Register 13 Feb 1922]
