2015 Honda HA-420 HondaJet N420EA (FLT HON12) from Piedmont Triad Int'l (KGSO) being repositioned by a NASA ground crew member.
The aircraft was at the NASA Langley Research Center for a little "show and tell" for the news media and employees at the Center. Later in the day, Honda Aircraft president and CEO Michimasa Fujino woud be the Colloquium speaker with, "Innovation and Inspiration - The HondaJet" later in the day.
In 2005, Honda used a 1/9th-scale model of the HondaJet for wind tunnel tests at the National Transonic Facility. Honda engineers used the data to assess high-speed flight performance.
