US Navy McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet 164630 from VFA-106 "Gladiators" painted in a special scheme resembling the first pre-production F-18A Hornet from October 1978 and commemorating the 30 year anniversary of the Hornet.
On the right side of the aircraft it says "MARINES", while on the left side it says "NAVY". The aircraft's first flight in this paint scheme was on 18 NOV 2008, and it joined VFA-106 on 21 NOV 2008.
