18/52 - Look into my heart.
Will you still love me when you're gone? Will you love me when you are here? I look into these eyes everyday and ask myself what did I do to deserve this guy? How did we come across each other? This year marks 5 amazing years with him and he has changed my life ever since.
I came across him on Pet Rescue after my cat of 18 years died, I was heart broken when I lost her, I'd had her since I moved to Australia when I was 4, plus she died only 5 days after my 21st. Then, I came across a photo of Scoota right up against the camera (he was born to be photographed) with 4 other kittens, his mother and the kittens were dumped, in a box on the side of the motorway. When I met him it was love at first sight, how could I not adopt him? With his unique markings and that personality? Crazy to say, but he is the reason I got over my old cat's death, when I'm feeling down, he helps you through with doing something silly. People say animals can't help - oh yes they can! So, this photo is to those of you, open your heart to an animal, adopt a dog, cat, rabbit... Fish today! They can and will change your life. Here's to all those who have the joy of an animal and here's to many more years (and photos) of Mr. Artful Scoota-Cootaa.
