Crackling Deep Dissection

Is this place the quickest way down to the bone anywhere on the planet? These narrow drainages over yonder are dissecting the Colorado Plateau up to 1000 ft deep. My Arizona vista has the littlest of sheds on the looped road for scale.

This almighty erosion is a fair bit upstream of a remarkably young Grand Canyon. Uber-deep fracturing associated with a mid-continental uplift of an extensive terrain of flat-lying Paleozoic rocks east of the Cordilleran Orogen has been quickly and aggressively exploited by the Colorado River drainage system.
