Pterodactyl kochi is shouting out some moves at Dynamic Earth, Sudbury, Canada. This fossil plate offers a late Jurassic raven-sized flying reptile with wings attached to elongated fourth fingers.
The toothy German specimen is on loan from the Humboldt Museum, Hamburg and one among many fabulous fossils assembled in a road show called Paleomania, the Great Travelling Fossil Collection, courtesy of the International Museum Institute of New York.

Paleomania was on display summer 2017 at Dynamic Earth, a magnificent earth science facility with a pocket-sized demonstration mine in its basement. Dynamic Earth is one of two great family stops in Sudbury, Science North is the other.
