LL 216 Galaxy Fighter
There was a game we had. it involved a ship, and it shot other ships. it was called Galaxy Fighters. I think There were.... lots of levels, 21, i think, plus some bonus levels, you had to shoot all the ships to advance to the next. After the levels, the went to the nightmare levels. The ships you shot at came in nice lines, swooping around, then fire at you. Sometimes when the other ships exploded, they gave you power ups (The triple purple, missiles, flamethrower, a double shooter) Then there was the TIE fighter looking ship. Sometimes it would land on your.... purplish base thing, put out some beams, and if you went into the beams, you would loose a life, but then that ship would come back, you could shoot it down, and now you have two ships!
Google has been no help in tracking this game down. My family got it on a CD with a bunch of other games. A jumping frog, one similar to this, Alien invasion, along with others. Any help in tracking down this would be very helpful.
