Sgian Dubh Finished.
As far as i'am aware this is a faithful
reconstruction of a Jacobite Sgian Dubh, taken from an old photo of the remains of one found on the isle of Harris in the 1930s so probably from the Clan MacLeod of MacLeod. it's somewhat different to the commercial ones sold today (no so Dressy)
its 6.5 ins Long , 3.25in pattern welded blade,Bog oak & bronze handle ,nickel silver pins
