Vox Sciurorum
Reading project, first two
I decided to read one book from every shelf face (i.e. vertical stack of ~9 shelves) in the paperback section of the MIT Science Fiction Society library. Starting in the middle, here are the first two. The Bones of God is the tale of the next prophet of God -- who hears her voice calling from the depths of space. 2018 is a dystopia set in a future Stockholm while humanity crumbles under the weight of overpopulation and resource exhaustion. It comes with an appendix full of references to prove that the absurd projections the author made were actually reality c. 1970.
