Equipment needed for modelling clay volcano demo

Supplies needed for an afternoon of modelling clay volcano demo fun:

 

* Flat piece of cardboard (an old shoebox works great!)

* Multicolor modeling clay (from a craft store – like Michael’s)

* 2 small shot glasses or other container that can hold 10-15 mL liquid

* Baking soda

* Dish detergent

* Vinegar

* Water

* Marking pen

* Paper towels
