I made this photo of a recently repaved path in the 313 acre park near our home during Melody's and my walk in early July 2025. We have walked this path many times over the years but could not for the last couple of months when the cracked pavement had been removed, the bare dirt was leveled and compacted before repaving. Many of the paths throughout the park have never been paved but this one is used a lot and is now even more pleasurable to walk on its surefooted surface. My original edited image was more wide angle but I also cropped this edited version.Shot using my Canon Powershot SX50; probably the last model camera I will ever own.
