First blossom on donut peach tree in our San Francisco backyard 20240317-131855
When I looked out at our backyard this sunny March 17, 2024, I saw the first Bird of Paradise bloom of the year and grabbed my Canon Powershot SX50. After I grabbed some shots of the TWO birds of paradise blooms, I saw several other buds on our fruit trees and this lovely blossom on our Donut Peach tree. I captured this image with my camera set at macro and spot focus, almost touching the flower when I depressed the shutter button. Looking forward to many more such beauty in the days to follow.
