Cloud over last quarter moon September 2019 seen from Dixon California 20190904-195236
I made this photo of the quarter moon while parked along a side road near Dixon California – between San Francisco and Sacramento on the evening of September 19, 2019; 2 1/3 minutes after the sunset photo in the precious slide. Guess the moon shot was taken facing east. The dark line near the upper part of the moon was cloud cover. The sky probably looks darker than it was since I was using spot focus and captured the image at 1/1250 second. I captured this and the sunset image using a Canon Powershot SX50, that I carry with me whenever out and about.
