I made this photo of the Salesforce building from the front stairs of our home in San Francisco's Excelsior District – a distance of about five miles. The sunlight reflecting off the building on the upper floors caught my attention. Unfortunately the glare off the buildng was much more interesting to the naked eye than in this digital capture of the moment. I shot this using the telephoto capabilities of my Canon Powershot SX50.
