I made this photo of a waning Gibbous moon in Cancer from in front f our San Francisco home early on a Friday morning. I would normally not be looking to photograph the moon at 0637 in the morning. However, Friday is garbage pickup day and I saw the moon when I was bringing in our recycle and compost containers. I shot this hand held using my Canon Powershot SX50.
